Tagged ...

My friend Dawn tagged me, but I keep forgetting ... so here's my "don't forget to do that" post to myself :)  I'll get to it soon!

1. DH and I knocked out a small wood wall out of our first apartment, so that our bed would fit in the room (it was a scary place, lol!)

2. I have a scar on my nose from when I got chicken pox

3. I haven't read a book in two months --- which is weird for me.

4. I just finally got a cell phone last month, and may be the world's slowest text-messager.

5. I sometimes keep my kids home from school just because I want to be with them.

6. I just bought my third 18-55mm canon lens, because I don't listen to DH and put it in my camera bag in between shots (I don't want to miss anything!)

7. I currently have a wiggly-tooth.  I have a loose temporary crown, and it's driving me nuts.

I'm tagging YOU!!!  If you haven't been tagged with this, get going :)

The Letter M

Thank you for my letter Diana (teacher-mom)! The letter she gave me is:

M

BIG "M" little "m" ... what begins with "m"?

1. Music - I love music - I always have. As a senior in high school, I was the Chorister for our Sunday meetings. On DH and my first date, (we were in college), we found an empty classroom with a piano, and played the piano and sang together. We also shared a few favorite songs, and found out that we had the same favorite Hymn "All Creatures Of Our God And King". It was true love, lol! Now our favorites include "Real Life" by Jeff Carson, "If I Had A Millon Dollars" by barenaked ladies, "The Reason" by Hoobastank, and "You're Beautiful" by James Blunt.

2. Money - or lack there-of, lol! Maybe that's why we love the "If I Had A Million Dollars" song so much (gotta love those "dijion ketchups"!) We never have any money! Barely getting through college on nothing, and now we have a good job, with good salary, but it still seems we have no money, lol! I suppose you really do spend what you make, regardless of the amount.

3. May - The month I was married, the month sunflowers start to sprout, the month associated with flowers and spring. What's not to love about May?!

4. Monkey - as in Curious George. I'm sure you already know my attatchment to curious george, plus most day's I feel like the zoo-keeper at the monkey house :)

5. Make-up - What's make-up? I seem to have forgotten over the past 4 years. I vagely remember that stuff that helped me look awake and pretty. I need to follow the example of MOF Becky, and go buy some makeup!

6. Messy - describes half my house at this present moment. Wanna see pictures? Ya RIGHT!!! Thank goodness for my DH who stayed up late last night while I dozed rocking the AngelBaby, and cleaned my kitchen and living room. I swear my house was spot-less 5 days ago! At least I have a sign to warn visitors "This house isn't under construction ... kids just live here."

7. Marraige - I love being married. Especially to my DH. We've had our share of trials, but we still couldn't live without each other. He's my sweetheart - forever. The best part is that first he was my Best Friend, and he still is the best friend I could have. Marraige is great - no more dating-stress, lol!

8.
Missy - DH and my first baby. I'll see if I can find a picture of her. She was a grey Mini-lop bunny, who was the sweetest thing in the world. She'd snuggle with me as studied, and she'd run figure-eights around DH and I when we stood talking to each other. She was a nibbler, and we went through lots of phone cords (hmm ... why hasn't anyone called us in 2 weeks?), but she never nibbled anything important, like my hope chest. She was the sweetest bunny in the world.

9. Mary Poppins - I loved this show when I was little, and had the idea that when I was a mother, I'd be like Mary Poppins: "Practicly Perfect in Every Way". Now, my kids watch the show, and I still love the show, but Mary Poppins really GETS ON MY NERVES!!! She acts so perfect, and she's a bit snobby and self-centered. What kind of person dislikes Mary Poppins?! Well, now you know ... ME! (Cringe!)

10. Miscelanious - I adore this word!!! Unfortunantly I use it much too often, so that half the boxes in my garage are labeled Misc. Not terribly helpful, except to know that I must just have a bunch of junk taking up space in my garage, lol! I think I may throw some "Misc." away, or at least Freecycle it! I love Freecycle - it's the ultimate MISC. place!

And there you have it. My 10 M's. Wanna play? Tell me in your comment, and I'll get you one!

6 Weird Things Meme

1. I obsesively label my books and dvds with my name. I just got a PTouch label maker, and had to re-label everything with it so everything was uniform. It stems from when I was 10, and had my own "mini-library", complete with checkout cards. The extra weird part, my friends actually checked out my books, lol! Yes, I'm well aware that this information stamps me as a total dork!

2. I'm addicted to eBay. If I can find something for the same price in the store, I've been known to still buy it off eBay so that I can boost my feedback numbers. I am rediculously proud of my 494 unique feedbacks ... 100% positive.

3. When I get tired, I get really silly and giggly. DH and my friends all laugh at me, since being tired makes me act like I'm drunk (or so they say). One of my old roomates still laughs about comments I'd make when we were staying up late to study ... like "where does my belly botton go?" She thought it was hillarious, but I really wanted to know~ I finally found out the info when my 2nd child recieved an umbilicul line, and our pediatritian explaned it all to me. The "belly botton" connects to blood supplies, but a few hours after birth, the blood vessels seal off, and it no longer serves a purpose, nor leads anywhere. (so there Kari, lol!)

4. I spend hours upon hours making awsome christmas cards, or moving notice cards ... then never actually send them. I don't know why, it's really kinda sad in a very pitiful way! I really do have the best of intentions.

5. A lot of times I come off as snobby or stuck up. I'm really not, it's just that I'm socially unsure of myself, and overly internalize things, and have to relate with my own life ... so I guess I'm maybe a bit self-centered, but I'm really not snobby.

6. I have *VERY* wide feet. I would probably be a "shoe person", but finding shoes that are wide enough for me are next to impossible. I can't wear wide flip-flops without 2 of my toes hanging off. It's very, very sad.

So now you all know how very weird I am, lol!

What were you doing 10 years ago?
I was in a rebelious stage of life. I was 15, boy crazy, and trying to find my identity. My best friends were Sarah, Miranda and Natalie, and was caught sneaking out of the house by a babysitter while my parents were out of town. Also, right around this time of year, we were in a car-wreck that broke both my mom's feet, so I was also playing "mom" to my 4 younger siblings.

What were you doing 1 year ago? Today, one year ago, we found out that DH got his job, and we were house hunting (he started his job Feb 14th, valentines day). I was also in over my head with a 3 year old, 1 year old, and a brand new baby, plus severe PPD and PP anxiety.

Five snacks you enjoy:
1. Ranch Baked Dorittos
2. breakfast burritos (eggs, torillas & salsa)

Five things you like doing:
