Its official!

We are on the induction schedule for May 2nd.  That's just 3 weeks and 2 days away!  My OB said that things are looking so good, that he wanted to put the pressure on the baby to stay put until then, lol!  I'll be 37 weeks, which is when the OB and the Perinatologist both want me delivered.  It's "full term", so we are keeping our fingers crossed for healthy lungs and good breathing with this baby.  However, we can handle whatever comes our way, so it will be okay no matter what.

I know its kinda dumb, but having that day scheduled makes me so much more relaxed and peaceful.  I CAN do this.  I have an official countdown, and the end is in sight.  I can do 3 more weeks of bedrest, when I know that those 3 weeks will end.

I'm trying to remember to enjoy these last 3 weeks.  SweetPea is wiggly and loves to roll and push against my belly with her little knees and hands, and toes.  I'm excited to hold her and see her and snuggle her, but there's something special about having her all to myself right now ... feeling her movement, noticing how she reacts when I eat certain foods, and just feeling her little spirit with me.

We told the kids last night that May 2nd is when the Dr wants their baby sister to come.  They got excited - every single one of them, and SuperBoy started telling us how many more Saturdays or scout meetings or church days we have before the baby is here.  It's so darling to see our 9 year old son get excited about a new baby sister.   Then the kids started telling me about what they think she should be named, lol.

Anyways, we can do it :)

Only 6 more non-stress-tests, 1 more ultrasound with the perinatologist, and 3 more OB appointments ... suddenly I feel so busy, lol!
