Summer Begins

So, SweetPea is 2 months old now.  She weighs a whopping 10 pounds, and has the cutest chub rolls.  She is starting to smile and once in a while she will coo at us.  She is very easy to adore!

SuperBoy is playing lacrosse this summer.  The first game was a little rough, but after we realized we were playing with the wrong team (cringe!), we found his team, and it went a lot better.  His coach is very nice and emphasizes HAVING FUN, which makes it a better experience for the kids.

The transition to 4 kids has been easy and hard.  I'm exhausted, even when we get a nice 6-7 hour stretch some nights ... I just can't seem to get back into the swing of things.  The kids are doing great - they are all awesome helpers with the baby, and they all adore her.  I know summer has just started, but I'm already counting down the days until the structure of the school year is back.  My PPD hasn't been too bad yet, and I'm hoping I can keep it under control ... I know having the sun shining outside is helping me a bit!  Now if I could just catch up on some sleep, and have a breather every now and then.  Life just feels non-stop ... I would love for things to just slow down a little bit!  Be able to catch up on the house and laundry, and get some projects done.  Maybe once school starts back up!
