Why you ask? Because, while seeing the movie Curious George with my children, I felt a special bond with The Man in the Yellow Hat. We seemed to be living the same storyline at the same time. As George painted the lady's penthouse, SuperBoy spilled his popcorn, and Princess threw her empty sippy cup 4 rows to show me that it was empty. The man in the Yellow hat was trying to get George out of the penthouse as I was searching under stick movie theater seats for the thrown sippy cup. As George was lifted of the ground by balloons, and floating away, my 1 year old started screaming to be free of her seat. The man in the yellow hat went after George, and I stood by the theater door, bouncing AngelBaby on my hip. The man in the yellow hat and I sighed tiredly together in unison, as we finished each "adventure", hoping to get just a little quiet time. But, as George played peek-a-boo, and Princess and AngelBaby both giggled in delight at the familiar game, the Man in the Yellow hat and I realised there was no way we could have true happiness without our monkeys, and that our adventure-filled life would be empty without them.
DH has decided he is now calling AngelBaby "George". I think it fits ... and our other two monkeys love the new nickname.
I've recieved a lot of comments about having three young children so close together. Mainly "You really have your hand's full", and I have always had the same response "Yes, it's sure an adventure!" Seeing Curious George with my children reminded me of the adventure of Motherhood, and how having your hands full might be tough, but it's always worth it in the end.

What a fun post! Cute! I can't wait to take my monkeys to that movie!
That was a funny post. They do look surprisingly alike (but so adorable!)
I agree, what a funny post! Sounds like a lot of fun ;)
Sorry, Sophia is much cuter.
That was a fabulous comparison. But I must say, Sophia is even cuter than George.
She is so cute!! I remember those days... and yes, you will later laugh and say "I sure am glad I am past the diaper days!" Right now I am waiting to say "I sure am glad I survived the teenage years"
How CUTE! Great post!
